Three Ways
This Usually Goes
Most work starts as one of these and turns into another. Terms are set per engagement.
Advisory
A standing retainer. We’re on the other end of the phone when the call is hard and you need someone with no stake in the internal politics.
Interim
We step in and run it. For organizations between leaders, or carrying a load the current structure was never built for.
Campaign and ballot
Strategy, message and organization for candidates, initiatives and advocacy groups that intend to win.
What Happens First
Week one is listening. We talk to the people who do the work, not only the people who hired us.
By the end of the first month you get it in writing: what’s working, what isn’t, and what we’d do about it. If that’s where it ends, it ends there.

Drafted, qualified, defended through a Montana Supreme Court challenge, and on the November 2026 ballot.

You can hire either one of us on our own. Most of the interesting work uses both.
Russ Cleveland
Navy veteran and Aviation Electrician. Ran a large portion of the Denver market for U.S. Bank, co-founded Rocky Mountain Kids and grew it to serve thousands of children, and stood up the nation’s first remote learning centers when schools closed. Ran for Montana’s 1st District in 2026 on individual contributions alone.
Dr. Kate Cleveland
Married Russ in 2013 and built the family business with him. Coaches at their local high school in Saint Regis.
